It's been far too long since I've posted here. Since last time, I went to see Duran Duran in concert for their Red Carpet Massacre tour - and had a complete blast. I'm hoping to see the Regeneration tour (with Human League, Naked Eyes, A Flock of Seagulls, Belinda Carlysle) this month, but we'll see.

]]>Although I don't agree with the religious philosophy of the song, I think Dear God by XTC is a very well-crafted song. I had never seen the video for it until recently, and was pleased to discover that the video adds to the song and is very well done.

I've been trying to come up with a video for how I feel about having the flu this week. The one that Immediately came to mind was "Jeopardy" by Greg Kihn Band, but that video is notably absent from YouTube at present.
Instead, I'll take inspiration from wearing an "I've got the creeping crud" surgical mask at the doctor's office today to keep my cooties from getting to anyone else. It reminded me of the gas masks that are present in the following video (which I really should have posted on Valentine's Day, as it pretty much sums up how I feel about that particular holiday):
